If you did not obtain health insurance during the first Open Enrollment Period of Obamacare, it is important that you are prepared and ready for the next one. If you miss the second Open Enrollment Period, you are required to wait until the following period. The only way to skip this requirement is if you are eligible for the special enrollment period.
The second Obamacare Open Enrollment Period will begin on November 15th, 2014 and will end on February 15th, 2015. During this time, you are required to obtain health insurance or face a financial penalty.
When enrolling for health care through the marketplace, be sure to use a reliable computer. Before you enter the enrollment process, be sure to clear the cookies and cache of your computer to ensure effective browsing. If you do not have a reliable computer available, be sure to use a friend’s computer or head over to the local library so that you can ensure accuracy in your enrollment.
