What You’ll Need:

1 12ounce rib eye steak

1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce

1 Teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning

½ of a juiced lemon

2 Tablespoons of Rice Vinegar

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons of White Sugar

½ Teaspoon Sesame Oil

¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder

2 pinches of red pepper flakes

10 leaves of Romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces

½ large English cucumber, cubed

1 peeled, pitted, & diced avocado

1 Tomato cut into wedges

4 thin slices of red onion

3 Tablespoons of Toasted Sesame Seeds

Prep & Serve:

1)      Season both sides of your rib eye with soy sauce and steak seasoning. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour, preferably overnight.

2)      Preheat your outdoor grill at medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

3)      Grill the steak until firm, reddish-pink, with a juicy center. This should take about 6 minutes for each side. Transfer the steak to a platter once it is prepared to your liking and sprinkle with lemon juice. Cover the meat with aluminum foil and allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes.

4)      After you cut the steak into thin strips, whisk the rice vinegar, olive oil, sugar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Combine the lettuce, cucumber, avocado, tomato, carrot, red onion, and steak strips into a larger bowl. Pour the rice vinegar dressing over the salad and toss. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, serve, and enjoy!
