The Perfect Recipe For Your Next Family Dinner
There are so many chicken recipes out there, but we highly recommend trying this healthy and delicious chicken dish! For your next family dinner, whip up this seared chicken breast with a lemon herb pan sauce:
What you will need:
- 1/3 Cup of Fresh Parsley, Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Thyme Leaves, Chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon peel, Sliced into Thin Strips
- 4 Pieces of Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breast Halves
- 4 Tablespoons of Butter
- ¼ Cup of Chicken Stock
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
How to prepare:
- Toss the parsley, garlic, thyme, and lemon peel together in a small bowl. Separately, season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, cook the chicken in butter for about six minutes. You should only turn the chicken once in between cooking. Once browned, transfer the chicken to a plate.
- Remove the skillet from the heat, add the chicken stock so you can collect the brown bits. Add the lemon and herb mixture and return to heat until it begins to simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, turn once, and simmer for an additional seven minutes.
- Serve with the pan sauce, garnish, and enjoy!
